Review Article "Risk interpretation and action: A conceptual framework for responses to natural hazards"

A review article titled Risk interpretation and action: A conceptual framework for responses to natural hazards has been published in the International Journal of Disaster Risk Reduction, which is available for download.

The aim of the article is the importance of a need for a better understanding of human decision-making in the face of risk as a priority for disaster risk reduction. It offers a critical overview of research and theory on the relationships between how people interpret risk and the decisions they make as a consequence of such interpretations.
