On 1 September 2026, IRDR held the webinar "Climate Change and Public Health: Connecting IRDR Research Teams". The event brought together IRDR researchers and partners to share progress, exchange knowledge, and explore collaboration opportunities under its climate change and public health workstream.

IRDR has organised a virtual workshop bringing together UN agencies, leading scientists, and policy practitioners to analyze the 26 August 2026 flash flood along the Bhotekoshi/Trishuli River, identify systemic gaps, and develop actionable recommendations for transboundary resilience.
