Words Into Action - topics under development by UNISDR

The Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030, adopted at the Third UN World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction on 18 March 2015 in Sendai, Japan, calls upon the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNISDR) to facilitate consultative processes to develop practical guides for implementation.

Consultations for the development of “Words Into Action” Sendai Framework implementation guides for a number of targeted topics are now open.  UNISDR invites partners to nominate experts or representatives who will participate in topic-specific working group by 3 September 2015.
