Don't forget to submit your nominations for the 2025 United Nations Sasakawa Award for Disaster Risk Reduction. This prestigious award is made possible by an endowment from the Nippon Foundation, Japan.

The IRDR International Young Scientists Forum (IYSF) 2026 is a three-day international forum organized by IRDR and mainly hosted by IRDR IPO and IRDR ICoE Coherence. The forum brings early career researchers together to advance disaster risk science and its application to policy and practice in support of the Sendai Framework. Its outputs will assess the contribution of science to Sendai Framework implementation and generate forward-looking insights to inform the post-2030 disaster risk reduction agenda.
