Save the date: [15-18 September 2026] IRDR International Young Scientists Forum

The Integrated Research on Disaster Risk (IRDR) International Young Scientists Forum (IYSF) 2026 will take place from 15–18 September 2026 at the National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Resilience (NIED), Tsukuba, Japan. It is organized by IRDR IPO, hosted by IRDR ICoE Coherence, and supported by multi IRDR partners. 

Bringing together early career researchers from across disciplines and regions, the forum will explore how disaster risk science can better support decision-making, policy development, and societal resilience in the context of the Sendai Framework and beyond. The programme will feature thematic sessions, interactive workshops, collaborative discussions, and networking opportunities designed to amplify young scientists’ contributions to global disaster risk reduction.
